Our Projects

Our chapter is currently working on a fun and creative activity that all our members are participating in.  We are collecting donated and purchasing soap, perfume, toothpaste, tampons, hair products, body lotion etc. We are also using leftover give-away items from the spring fashion show that some of our members worked on and open to other ideas on how we could procure other products. 

In March 2025 we were able to help our women veterans who struggle to make ends meet or find themselves in an emergency. Over 100 Toiletry Kits were given to homeless women who visit to the South Dade Women’s Veteran’s Alliance (SDWVA) headquarters seeking assistance.

Given the success of our collection, an additional 100 kits are being assembled and sent to Crossnore School and Children’s Home in North Carolina for teenage girls and young women aging out of the foster system. (November 2025)
