Our Projects

The Coral Gables Chapter, NSDAR, is collecting 250 letters of appreciation for veterans and active duty servicemen through A Million Thanks to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. In collaboration with a local Christian school, we have already collected 242 letters—just eight short of our goal!

We hope to expand this project and collect additional letters by working with more schools, encouraging children to develop a love of history and an appreciation for our armed forces. Chapter members are also encouraged to write letters at each meeting and on their own, helping us reach—and exceed—our goal of 250 heartfelt messages of gratitude.
